Meet outside the cemetery in Silves & walk up to the windmill & loop back via the beautiful countryside beyond. About 2 hours. (Directions: driving from CVO to Silves , go over the bridge & turn right. At the roundabout , turn left towards the town & the cemetery is about 100m on the right).

No charge , of course.

May I suggest you enter each proposed walk as a topic with the date in the head line. Participants could sign up by posting to the topic and you could round it off by a short report with the number of participants and eventually the distance / map. Enjoy your walk!

Well, better late than never, I have just come across a photo of our first 2 walkers , Caroline & Gerrit...here they are with Sue ( in the middle)....both have returned to walk again!
