There are too many of us for the walk at Ribeira das Canas so we have decided to have two walking groups on the same day.

The other walk proposed will be in and around Carvoeiro, about 1.5 to 2hrs and ending up at one of the local restaurants - this may well be one of the first walks done by Carvoeiro Ramblers actually in Carvoeiro! It will be a mix of back roads, tracks and the boardwalk/cliff. I am still working out a route!

If you wish to go on this walk then let me know and depending on numbers I will propose a start point.

Seven of us had a CVO Ramblers walk in and around Carvoeiro - Willie & Carol, George & Ails, Noel & Trish and Chantel. We started from Areias dos Moinhos and via a series of newly discovered paths, tracks, glades and roads we ended up in downtown Carvoeiro and were delighted to see that Hemingways was open for a nice wee pit stop. We then proceeded along the boardwalk and cliffs to the Tivoli Hotel then onto Ponto for lunch. Paulo excelled himself and the chicken Piri Piri was the best I ever had there. No pics!
8km and 2hrs, not counting the pit stop!
