Well said, The only thing I would really miss is PG tips oh and maybe the occaisional tin of heinz baked beans. There is a growing english food distributor on the road into the square in ALbufeira, sells everything that the expat missing E nos could want.
Certainly worth a visit if you are interested.

Who are the most reliable ( english speaking ) taxi drivers in Town.

We have non driving friends staying in our villa in May who will want to go into town at night for meals, shopping etc.

My views came from cosch drivers who took groups to the alps skiing, it was always much easier for the downhillers to get going again than it is for the uphillers. Try starting your car on ice uphill to see what they meant. Mind you on the Benagil hil I think that all it means is I have a bigger car...

I was always told that in hilly areas the traffic travelling down hill gave way to that moving uphill. I think you will find that in most restaraunts the cataplana container ( cataplana is not a recipe but a container ) is not used to cook the ingredients but just as a way of presenting it to the table. Those you see for sale are normally for display only and would not stand up to the heat necessary ...

There are two courses at morgado, the original one with some wide fairways and v long holes, a good test in the spring when the rough has grown.

The second course Alamos has a lot more water and ditches.

Both worth a visit, but it can get very hot in what is an inland valley.

We will be having our dish fitted in a couple of weeks time ( not this company ). We were told to bring our card with us as it it getting harder for local companies to obtain these. If bring your own box check to see if it will work in Portugal, some of the older models do not. With the launch later...

Where do you want to start, minutes from the centre of cvo are gramacho and pinta ( venues for the european ladies tour and mens seniors ). Would not agree that they are cheaper than UK but Wortens also have a very good range ( guia shopping centre ).

They will also remove all packaging, and install/fit wall fittings if needed.

You do not need to go that far, Van Gogh just outside of boliquieme or Villa Joya ( michelin star ) in Gale.
