Like you we are looking for a New Years Eve venue this year (2 couples each 10 years older than your party!).

We went to Julio's last year which was excellent but unfortunately they are closed for Christmas and New Year this year.

We have been to CVO in September every year for the last 12 years and invariably 95% of the time the weather is excellent. Stansted flights to Faro tend to appear anytime from the beginning of June. I am also waiting to book 4 weeks over Christmas/New Year this year (it goes up by a week each year!)
