It is indeed 2.95 but they charge you extra for post-payment.

The extra amount (0.31) you had to pay was costs for post-payment I suppose?

Spot on...in a rush to Faro in the hire car to be there at 8.30 am leave the Motorway 1) where is the nearest post office? At Faro Airport I suppose? Just look for the long queue ....
