Our favourite is Tia Ilda - we could happily eat here every night! The setting/view is lovely too! It doesn't really seem to get nuch of a mention on the forum - I've often wondered why?

Just returned from our annual 2 week stay! Did anyone else spot 'Kevin Webster' - the mechanic from Coranation Street?? We clocked him in Tia Ilda with his family last week - made my daughter's evening!!!

Just got home today from our 2 weeks in the sun!! There seemed to be something happening in the square most nights - very varied from a guy with a guitar to a fire eater!!

We visited 3 times over 2 weeks - and we weren't staying anywhere near Carvoeiro! We loved the food - especially the shrimps in garlic butter, as a starter! We were in Portugal last week - we noticed the water pressure wasn't brilliant and the water was off a couple of times. I found the Algarve Book Cellar very handy - loads of choice and a trade- in on your old books. If I remember right they will order in new books if you are living in CVO, also have a video section. Very friendly people!
