Visiting QDP

Post by Alison »

There is a wide range of accommodation on the QDP complex - the standard depends partly on what you are staying in and whether the property has been modernised recently. The complex has plenty of facilities - restaurants, tennis courts, children's playground, several communal pools etc. Golf is around 5 minutes away by car - 9 hole course East of CVO at Vale de Milho and the Pestana complex West of CVO with two 18 hole courses. The renowned Penina course is about 20 minutes drive away.

The complex is close enough to walk to the town centre and local beaches.

Hope you enjoy your stay there - we love it !

Hi Jimmy

Most of the villas on the complex are privately owned so the standard of accommodation will depend on the individual property.

The complex itself is great and is ideally suited to families and couples of all ages. The only problem we find is the lack of breakfast facilities because the cafe does not open until around 11:00am and does not serve 'english' breakfast. There are plenty of places to try in the village though and Vale de Milho golf course does a great breakfast. The coffee they serve is something I look forward to every time I go.

Have a great time. :D
