We spent February at RB and visited the cafe several times it is looking a lot brighter and lighter with new
furniture but they were still feeling their way. We thought the gardens were looking a lot better and several
of the paths were being re-laid to make them safer. The palms were being worked on and some had been cut
down including the large one at the entrance, we shall be back in June and I think we shall see a lot of work
has been done.

Hi Sue. We just came back after a week at RB - first stay for a few years - and pleased to say it was as good as ever.
RB's is open and well although with a much reduced snack menu. The big palm at the entrance has gone but there are 3 small ones sprouting. They have lost a few big palms down on the road towards the sales office but otherwise the gardens looked great with a team of about 5 gardeners working on them. Free wi-fi in RB's, O Farol and around the big pool as well as in Helders.
The on site supermarket is still as expensive as ever

thank's for the update cereza, family were out last week for a few day's and said much the same. the palm at the entrance was taken down when we were last there in november and my son say's the tops have been taken off the palms in front of them, although it's a shame it has made it a lot lighter. we tend to use the spar near Helder's if we run out of anything as it's nearer for us and then go for a coffee lol

We only use the site shop for the newspaper - we stocked up in Aldi and used the Spar by Helders for milk etc.
