restaurant prices
restaurant prices
I think restaurant prices in Carvoeiro are generally very reasonable and even the more expensive places are cheap compared to anywhere in England. A Rede serves decent food at cheap prices however just down the road at O Patio, you will pay almost double for the same standard of food. And if you sit outside you may have the pleasure of being serenaded by the local madman/drunk shouting obsenities in Portuguese and spitting as he staggers around the square waving his arms in a fit of rage.

Down in leafy Surrey, the pubs have all re-invented themselves as "Gastro-pubs" Food is no better, often psuedo Ramseyesque designer food.
The price....if you're not careful....£70 for 2
There's alot to be said for Lincolnshire Elli...especially the 1960 prices!!!
More "food for thought"................
As the pound has tumbled against the Euro by between 20 and 30%, you can no longer apply the £ to euro comparison in restaurants or anywhere else this year!
