Friend & I had nice lunch here last Saturday...
We had Sardinha pate/bread& butter..
Marilyn had steak/egg/ chips...and small bottle Vinho Tinto ( a good 4 glasses )....
I had 6 (or was it 8 ) grilled sardines/ little potatoes with herbs/ salad and a beer......most enjoyable
came to 20 euros......would you say that was good value?
p.s. For those who don't know it..its up steps the side of Safari /fish& chip shop..
incidently..the fish is good here if you're looking for something from 'home'..Ive had the plaice & the cod...very nice..
if you like tartare sauce..ask Anne the lovely lady there & she'll provide it!
Bon appetite!

Well, it mainly depends on the fish quality but anyway the main fish port is Olhao so i strongly recommend you to visit it. Besides in this season you may find one of the top specialities in southern cuisine ( both Spain and Portigal ) SNAILS. Yes as it sounds. Has anyone tried this ? They´re absolutely delicious.
