Renault Clio for sale
Renault Clio for sale
we're buying a new family car, the garage have made a bid for our current car and before we trade it in we thought we might offer it on here in case anybody would like to buy it for the same price.
It's a 5 year old (12/05) metallic blue Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique
we've owned it from new, it has a full service record from Portimao Renault, was serviced recently and new tyres were put on it last year. It has 87,000km on the clock, has automatic lights & windscreen wipers. There's a couple of small nicks and dents that you'd expect from a car of that age but in general it's in very good decision.
The garage have bid us €5,500, if anyone would be interested at the same price please pm me to see photos or arrange a viewing.

Re: Renault Clio for sale
Hi Sunman
Very good of you to offer your Clio on here at dealers buy-in-price, which I can see compares well with sale prices on StandVirtual.
This is of great interest to us, but it appears that as a newly registered forum user I am not yet allowed to send you a PM requesting pictures, and arrange a viewing.
I see that you are a well established forum user so perhaps you could kindly suggest how best we make contact. Thank you. KP

the car market in Portugal is an odd, and much debated issue on this site;
the tax on cars as luxury goods is incredibly high and means prices way in excess of what we're familiar with in the UK; so no, far from buying a Bentley we've bought a VW golf and paid nearly £6,000 more to the nice folks in VW Portimao that we could get it for on Drive the Deal. The high cost of new cars means that the second hand market is held artificially high.

Hi Again Sunman
I received your PM ok, but the site does not allow me to either reply directly or to send you a separate PM (apparently the rules prevent new forum members having access via PM´s untill such time as they have made sufficient forum contributions)
Therefore, would you care to send me a PM enclosing your email address so that i can email you in reply?
Thanks, KP
