Thanks Carvoeiro!
We've returned to Cool (Cold) Britannia after a wonderful week in CVO. We never imagined it would be so hot! I know it was lovely 2 years ago when we got married there but I never expected that we'd actually be able to swim! Red hot, lying on the beach, swimming in the sea every day.... I'd like to say thank you to everyone who helped to make our wedding anniversary so wonderful.....Racel and Sergio obviously for their hospitality, at home and in the bar - Good Luck with your next venture....... The boys at Chef Antonio, absolutley gorgeous fish again and brilliant service, the staff at Casa Algarvia - lovely fillet steak! Jenny and Craig at Havana Bar - great atmosphere as always! The wonderful night at Mistral with the live music - heaven.....Casa Rosa up at Sesmarias has been all re-furbished but hasn't lost it's charm, lovely late stop off for coffee and port, and lastly Casa Joao also at Sesmarias, closed this week for refurbishment but open again from about 10th Nov. Great, friendly service and fab pizza! and live music on Sunday nights! Looking forward to Easter............

We've also just returned to chilly England after a hot 10 days in Cvo. Our hottest time yet! Shame we couldn't get on Centeannes beach towards the end of our hol. The sea had washed all the sand away from the steps leading down to the beach. This happens every year but more so this time. A very nice Portuguese lad gave me a peg up at the end of one day, but didn't dare risk it another day in case I gave someone a hernia! I'm sure the sand will be back next Feb.
