4X4 HIRE

Post by FRED »

Does anyone know of anywhere that hires out X5s or range rovers from FARO airport for holiday rents?

Blimey, only their third post and already being nasty. At least I waited until I'd posted a dozen times before having a go at fellow members!

You don't think aussie been here before under other names by any chance? - some of the nasties seem to have disappeared - still, no doubt aussie live in a degradable paper tent, doesn't drive, fly anywhere, use gas or electric for heating - ever - and doesn't go on holiday and therefore is qualified to criticise ! Wonder if aussie walks everywhere? - maybe from Oz to Europe?

Perhaps the question should have been " why do you need a 4 x 4. ?? "

If its just to " POSE " as far too many do ,not just in the ALgarve then I hope the car hire companies take them to the cleaners.

If you really need one then be prepared to pay the price.

Seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me. I thought the forum existed to allow members to exchange information and views etc.

Suppose Aussie needs the vehicle to reach a remote spot on the Monchique in order to scatter his late wife's ashes?

Ok silly idea he probably is a poser but so what?

If you don't mind being a social leper :D

I seem to recollect Fred asking this question last year and it was because he had a big party and lots of bags.

Isnt it wonderful how an innocent jibe can get you all writing.
Sorry Mr Crane aka" lege" for being a newbie with a sense of humour or attitude or whatever.
Fred I know you can decide what car to rent but you did ask for some sort of a smart reply especially with your choice of car BMW etc. Never saw too many of those at Faro, more your big nine seater converted vans.
Cant quite make it on foot to Carvoeiro.
Happy New Year to you all.

Fred, in answer to your enquiry EUROPCAR do the x5. range rover and mercedes ml from faro airport. must be over 30 years to hire them and they are obviously not cheap.

Sense of humour? When you say something funny it's usually punctuated by a smiley ( :) ), which your 'humorous' reply was lacking. However, you certainly have an attitude - there's no denying that.

btw, I am not a King . . . I am merely a Prince :P
