The Martians have landed!
I told you that the Martians wouldn't take kindly to our landing a roving vehicle on their planet!
In retalliation, they have landed their "terra exploration vehicle" slap bang in the centre of CVO, just outside the ice-cream parlour. You can see it clearly on the webcam

Well it all happened so quickly! The Martian Government had sent them to Earth as scouts to find somewhere hot, red and dusty where the Martian people could take their holidays, because Mars is so cold.
All went well until they landed outside the ice-cream parlour, when they discovered that although CVO was hot, it was not red and dusty.
They immediately took off again, and were tracked by NASA crossing the southern United States, heading for the Arizona Desert, where they have now opened their deck chairs (they had to pay earthlings for the use of the patent), put on their shades, and are enjoying the Arizona sunshine, minus, unfortunately, those lovely Carvoeiran ice-creams. Oh well, you cannot win 'em all!
The moral of this story is:- If you want to find a nice place to go on your hols, don't ask a Martian!
