Xmas flights - when are they usually released?

Post by Rob Watson »

Can anyone remember approximately when the xmas flights are released please?

Have decided want to be in Carvoeiro for xmas and new year next year but no flights out yet - so wondering when I should start looking to bag an early book bargain?

thanks, and a happy new year to all :)

You could register with any airline in which you have an interest, so that you receive e-mail updates of flights. Difficult to know how the economic situation will impact flights next year. Our return flight to UK 3 weeks ago was cancelled, and amalgamated with a flight the next day.

The Christmas ones are out usually after June. You just have to register (or check frequently)

We booked ours in April with Monarch. No doubt we´ll do the same this year.

The only problem with booking Monarch before Easyjet release their prices is that Monarch hold their prices very high until they get the competition from Easyjet. Typically 30% or so.

Don't care! I have a certain limit on what I'll pay and no more. So far Monarch have been within my budget . . . . and I'm not too keen on SleasyJet 8)
