Deactivated Zero

Post by SHOWWWIE »

What is a deactivated zero please? Is it like a "prefix" to a long distance call. Here in most of NA, the "prefix" would be a 1 for long distance, or for local calls, a 9.

Well Matt you really are upset aren't you? All you've done is prove my point - no Mike wasn't abusive or offensive but he was sarcastic and I don't think such an innocent comment deserved that sort of response.

As for your reply to my comment - well what can I say?????

You think I'm a" weak, unfair, self pitying, pathetic, lying whinger with a false opinion" - when I find a counsellor to help me deal with my problems I'll pass the number on as you obviously need some help too!!

Get someone to put your toys back in your pram Matt and just calm down.

lol, well fair enough. I wasnt suggesting you were all of those things mansie, just your comments. And in retrospect you are probably right that my comments were a bit over the top-in all honesty I was probably using the forum as a bit of free stress relief, I am sorry. Lets put this one to rest now shall we?

Oh and to the other well thought out responses from the guests I have no reply of the same stature, I think that your inability to make a point and just resort to name calling shows for itself your level of stupidity.

Thanks for that Matt - to be honest I was slightly dreading looking at the forum this morning - but I read your reply with a smile on my face - we all have "off" days. As you say - "lets put it to rest now"

Well first of all thanks to Matt K for the support (cheques in the post) and I have to say that I'm amazed at some of the reponses. I needed urgently a local cab company that didn't pocess a 0 because my 86 year old aunt was staying at the villa and still is. It's quite common now to have mobile numbers as against the old fashion land lines as cab numbers which caused the concern. Thank you Graham for the number and at a later post as to how to dial it, (good stuff that, enjoyed it).0 has been common for years in Villas and apartments with owners phones. Not in hotels as Gambo said. Tricky, I'm not smart, it was inherited (the phone bit) and seemed a good idea. Mansie, sorry I upset you so much but a little bit of sarcasism is not a problem in my book, I haven't read many of your postings apart from the recent ones on this subject and others but do keep them up as the more postings the merrier. Biffa's litle darling (2), your winding us all up and it's great, keep it going. Hope that puts this bed and my aunt tonight thats dialing Grahams suggestion when she's had enough and needs a cab back!. Any probs with this message feel free to email me direct via the forum. Love to you all and good night.

That may be true - but he had better get a number without a zero or he could be losing business :D
