Ryanair
Ryanair
Ryanair have just tried to charge me £20.00 credit/debit card fee for two passengers from Liverpool to Faro on the same card.
Surely these fees must be regulated somewhere, this is ridiculous, the whole fare came to £39.00 for two and then £20 on top!

Re: Ryanair
All the airlines charge you for use of a card/debit card, the amounts vary, some do it per booking and others ( Ryanair ) per passenger.
This is a matter of much discussion in the travel forums but there are no rules YET.

Re: Ryanair
With Ryanair if you opted for airport check-in when booking (rather than online check-in) it would cost you £20 per person per journey. If you don't pay then but just turn up at the airport check-in desk, the fees double again. So a family of four checking in the traditional, unplanned way could find themselves having to pay £320 extra on a return flight (£40 per person each way). This is, of course, on top of your ticket prices etc.
Ryanair are kings of the rip-off.

I agree with all about Ryanair, but they usually still come out the cheapest after everything.
Re: Ryanair
hi,
I believe if you use a Visa Electron card there is no charge .... I don't have one but I always click on the Visa Electron option when paying for anything online anyway for devilment and sometimes it accepts my Visa Credit Card but doesn't charge me the fee ....

Re: Ryanair
I may get one then, although it won't have the same fun factor as I get when I think I've got one over on them!

Re: Ryanair
Simple solution to all the Ryanair feedback i've seen in recent months on various forums.
Don't use them! If every UK consumer refused to use them they'd go out of business!
