Well Bica (did I get name right?),
First of all,thank-you for reading the story --- is it really the "dustmen" working at those "unearthly" hours --it was always between 1 and 2 am-- and not some giant stalking the back streets letting out those heavy breathing sighs ? Or are they making "binmen" bigger these days--surely theyre not lifting those bins manually :!:
Ill tell you something though Bica, youve made me laugh out loud on a morning when i was "fed-up"(it was pouring here earlier).
Course, you know,Ill have the giggles all day now--wont be able to write anything serious--think youve given me great idea --a comedy about Portuguese Binmen--if you'd like to contribute--always open to new ideas.
Thanks for cheering me up !
Keep smiling and writing, Ellie.

Oh lord, just had another look at your topic Bica ( is that still a strong coffee ?) and you said it was "dustcart" not dustmen making the noise--theres me going on about binmen--so you have a deep sighing dustcart--mm a likely story--do they really collect that early inQuarteira -ours never used to arrive till 6am-quite early enough !
Ive always wanted to know about that horrible noise and what it was --but Steen said if it is "ghostly" then it should remain a mystery!
But of course now youve set me wondering --- ate breve Ellie. :?:
