Yvonne & the stray dog pack

Post by Vivamus »

Have we all seen this in the latest News?:

As for expressing surprise at their food bowls, etc. being thrown out, frankly I'm surprised someone hasn't poisoned them outright yet. :(

What a wonderful lady. Some of these so-called wild dogs were pets just abandoned and dumped there to fend for themselves? When you have a pet you have a pet for life. It is a living creature that have emotions of fear and sorrow.

I hope this lady gets the assistance she needs.

I hope so too.

We spent part of the summerin Carvoeiro this year and found dumped kittens on the cliff. They were 3 days old. We also noticed several dogs that looked like they had been dumped, one of which was a gorgeous perdigeiro (sp?). This attitude of disposal is the only thing I really detest about Portugal. I know it isn´t everyone, but it is far more common than I would like to see.
