Ferry from St-Nazaire France to Gijon Spain

Post by Ellie 2 »

Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone had ever used the ferry crossing from St-Nazaire France to Gijon Spain? It is an overnighter and the total sailing time is about 15 hours. We usually drive over in May for a fair number of weeks and thought we might try this crossing. I am not a good sailer so would appreciate it if anyone knows if this is a good route to try during the month of May.
Thanks
E.

If you are going to do that, you may as well go for Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao. 24 hours on a very comfortable ferry liner, then a 2 day day leisurely trip down here....or a 10 hour flyer!!
