Tell me the truth please !

Hi Sue,

I can only tell you what we know from our limited experience!

We have been to CVO for the New Year twice in recent years, both times in was considerably more quiet than in May - Sept, but not withstanding that, we had an absolutely fab time! We spent New years day on the beach on both occasions - even managed a dip in the sea - but probably wouldnt recommend that!!!!

The village is obviously a lot quieter than the spring / summer, but it didnt stop us from eating out most nights, & most of the bars were open, apart from one or two.

We are planning to go back for New Year, possibly next year, so in our opinion it cant be that bad!!!!

PS just come back from a short 4 day break & boy was it hot!!!!!!

We have been twice for New Year and although it is quiet we still had a great time,we had some friends around also so we made our own fun,there were enough places open to go out at night. The weather is lovely during the day we were siting out in the square on 1st january and did lots of walking along the cliffs which is lovely. We have a place in Golfemar so we have a fire which we lit in the evenings which was perfect .

For the last 10 or 12 years we have been going (almost) every December and it has always been quiet but nowhere near dead. There's plenty of places open and fewer people around. WE went in June once . . . it rained for five of the seven days we were there.
