Solferias
Re: Solferias
We had used Solferias once in the past when awaiting a room at O Castello, it was ok and very cheap if I remember.
Re O Beteca, does anyone remember yonks ago we all said we would put shares in it and purchase it, a great subject that kept many of us old timers in amusement for some time

Re: Solferias
Off topic slightly but I went up the windy hill yesterday behind a large bus. It had to reverse back a couple of times to allow vehicles to pass in the other direction. I held back to allow room and the prat behind, not content with tail-gating me, tried to overtake! If Solferias has closed, I hope they don't turn off the power. Everyone in Carvoeiro will lose their mobile signal.

I suspect all those aerials are independently powered and not relying on the Solferias supply. I guess they will be leasing the space to site them and the receivers/administrators will be only too happy to have that revenue.laserblazer wrote:I hope they don't turn off the power.

I think you'll find they all go to a bank of ganged 8-way extension blocks feeding into a single outlet in the cleaner's cupboardshanagarry wrote:I suspect all those aerials are independently powered and not relying on the Solferias supply. Hibiscus Gardens
Hello
I am an owner at Hibiscus Gardens. It is closed currently but we fully expect it to re-open. I believe there are a group trying to buy it but there is legal stuff going on at the moment. You can get updates from: www.HibiscusGardens33.co.uk - my own site for my apartment. I am the only UK person currently updating potential guests. I doubt we will open this year but you never know.... Chris

Re: Solferias
I called in at solferias yesterday, & a young man at the reception said that they were open for the time share apartments, but they would be opening as a hotel in July.
Re: Solferias
I walked past Solfeiras this morning & was pleasantly surprised; lots of cars parked, resort vans, people in the rooms, kids playing in the pool; only heard Spanish accents but hey, it's up and running & i'm pleased about that
Re: Solferias
According to an article in this weeks resident about the developments at benegil and snr da rocha , it mentions that the solfirias is about to undergo major refurbishment
Re: Solferias
Its good news that its up&running again&even better news if its going to be refurbished.

Hibiscus Gardens
Hello - I am an owner at Hibiscus Gardens - www.HibiscusGardens33.co.uk. We have been closed for a couple of years due to protracted legal case due to the Courts being closed for a few months as a result of IT issues! We are hoping for a resolve soon and new ownership of the development which will bring HG back to it's former glory. I don't think we will be open this year but watch this space. Check for updates on my site where you can email me also.

We, and no doubt many others, wondered what had happened to Hibuiscus Gardens, but am not sure why you have posted this here under Solferias?Hello - I am an owner at Hibiscus Gardens - www.HibiscusGardens33.co.uk.
