Migrant 'intake'

While listening to the radio (LBC) this morning my attention was drawn to the apparent escalation of Migrant/Refugee crisis (even though its presence in the media is reducing) I was astounded to hear of the relentless flood of immigrants masquerading as refugees (some genuine) continuing to be be 'washed-up in Lesbos (this week alone numbers c.10,000). I wondered how many of those are beating a path to Portugal's borders.

I have not read of any reference to Portugal taking a share of those genuine refugees seeking a better and safer life and wondered if the Portuguese are welcoming and offering shelter and resettlement facilities in the same way as several other countries are having to make provision for.

Have I missed something

So 1,500 refugees coming in, and according to another article in the same publication, 110,00 Portuguese a year emigrating. I wonder how many years it will be before Portugal has a muslim majority. The same is happening in the U.K., France, and particularly Germany. Although I won't be around to see it (thank God and Allah) I imagine that all European countries within the next 100 years will have a muslim majority and will then apply sharia law.

Thank you 123 - I had missed that but dennisg's reply is right on the money and that's got to be the real 'wake-up' call that it's not only Portugal experiencing creeping muslim infiltration - its all around us and will inevitably see ISIS winning seats in European governments. You couldn't make it up
