CLUB GOLFEMAR

Post by golfemar visitor »

Just returned from a stay in Carvoeiro, at club golfemar, apartment was fantastic but the complex was a big big disapointment, no shops, no tennis courts no gym no in door pool nothing except a dirty main swimming pool with dead grass around it, Iam currently taking legal action against the rental company.
Any one else had a bad experiance?

I understand like us many owners are trying to sell up, we were promised a modern type Rocha Brava instead we got a fredy flinstones village.
The condominium is also joke.

Hi,
I know this is a really old post but have things changed at Carvoeiro Club Golfemar? Have they built any shops or anything and how is the management?

Hi

As you say very old post and you have to question what the renter was sold in terms of facilities as there have never been shops, tennis courts etc nor will there be. That aside Clube Golfemar has an exceptional pool and the area surrounding it, including a restaurant and bar that is open mid/peak season, has some of the best views there are to be found in the area. We have owned for many years and love it and can't speak highly enough of the way the condominium is run. We may not have all the facilities that Rocha Brava has but our service charges are a fraction of theirs and their shop is only a stroll away for us to use! Happy for you to PM if you need any other info.

We had friends stay at club golfmar last year. I agree the grass was quite long around the pool but perhaps that's better than some ' manicured' resorts in the area. The pool was fantastic but the best thing was the wonderful view. Had to be the best all round sea view in the area

Having spoken to the staff last time i was out there i believe they are planning changes to the condominium including a number of retail units that are currently vacant underneath the restaurant.

The only issue i have is that it is not open all year round but agree that the facilities have improved over the years.
