My understanding is that the Algarve celebrate Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day itself.
Are the usual restaurants/bars open on Christmas Eve ? and if so do they close early ?
Which restaurants are open on Christmas Day...
Any restaurant recommendations for Christmas Day ... Good Food. Music, etc

Martin, quite a lot of the restaurants close on Christmas Eve, but there are still a few around. As to which ones will be open and closed is any ones guess, it depends how good the season was to them. Taste, MaJa's and Maxims are open Christmas day that I know of but you need to check others for the day before.
