El Cid--are you still there ?

Does anyone have a clue if the "El Cid" (hotel) is still open in Burgos --we're hoping to stay there on our way out end August --quite old place but very nice --did lovely breakfasts--only problem,its bang next to the cathedral whose clock chimes every hour on the hour!
Ive tried online --but all I keep getting is "El Cids " all over the place, except where I want it .
Want to try to book in advance as its bound to be busy then.
Also,does anyone know of a campsite near to Salamanca--have to be a bit economical!
