Help with Web hosting!

I have just moved into the area and am looking for a Company to host my website. It is currently hosted in UK by Freeola but I have to dial UK everytime I want to change a page which is quite often. I also have trouble connecting to the UK.

Can anyone recommend a company in portugal to host my site??
One with a local dial up number.

Trish, you don't need to change the host of your website. But also you don't want to be using your UK ISP for accessing the internet at all.

Simply sign up to one of the local ISPs (I use Clix, but the local web addresses are all on the community section of this website) and use that to log onto the intenet. Clix has no subscription charge, and you only pay local call charges (cheap!).

Once connected, you can access your own website host exactly the same way you would from the UK. After all, the whole point of the internet is that you can access any site in the world from your local login.
