I'm desperately trying to get hold of contact names and numbers for photographers for our wedding in Carvoeiro in September, having absolutely no joy whatsoever. Would appreciate any info you may have.

ok, I was once in Kaapstad and love to get back there. How do you get in Portugal (only if you want to share it of course).

We're only going to Portugal in September for our wedding, staying for 2 weeks to make a holiday of it. We've yet to organise car rental, etc. but are looking forward to it.

Hi this man is from Portimão and one of the best photographers around, book as soon as possible because he is VERY busy. I've been to several weddings, christenings where he has taken photos and never seen a bad one yet!

you should compare quality not costs with something like wedding photos, try to find someone who has used the photographer. The last wedding I went to the guests didn't have any feet in the photos and many of them were blurred! Have a wonderful day

High quality is obviously a prerequisite when it comes to selecting a photographer for an event such as a wedding. So it won't just be costs I'll be comparing. Thank you for your thoughts.

If you live in CVO perhaps you can help us! We're getting married in a month's time, and the restaurant I had booked for the dinner party cancelled on us only a few nights ago. So we're desperately looking for a nice restaurant in the area (we don't mind if it's outside the town either) just for a small dinner party (16 people). If you're able to help, perhaps you can give me your direct e-mail address? I'd be very grateful.

Sorry to hear that you have been let down by the restaurant that you had booked.

I can't help but maybe Gambrinus or the Webmaster might be able to help you and think the regulars to this site will do their best also

Most resturants will be happy to give you a price per head and a special menu, if asked in advance. Try O Cantinho I have been to several birthday, wedding and christening lunches and dinners and it is ALWAYS excellent quality and service. Here is their address:
