Firstly, thank you and well done to Karen for her stint with the newsletter.

Has anyone volunteered or been persuaded to take on the task ?

 Great, thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep it up. Love the bit on walking and the group set up. Any other groups set up in the area for different things, i.e footie for him, I know there is the golf thingy cos he is in contact with them. Is there any womens groups, debateing groups, oh anything. Perhaps this sort of thing would be info for all. I know there is a good Volunteer group for the retired in most places in Europe so I presume there is one somewhere in the Algarve. :?

Sally, I can't remember exactly when, but some time back on here, there was a lady looking for girls to join her dancing lessons..just a thought,
I expressed an interest but of course Im not out there so much at moment..they'd have to be slow ones for me and my knee! :)

Thanks & Good luck with newsletter Carol..glad that its still continuing for all us fans of CVO

A quote from Mae West:
Anything worth doing, is worth doing slowly....
