The dog in the square is called Bobby for those that want to know, Mike.

I found the small fat man from café "3 irmaos" worst .... constantly cheating customers like overcharging or charging 2 or 3 times for the same drink .... think he´s called Pele (?) ... Bad for tourism ... :evil:

A couple of words on strays,

- a small wolfpack of stray dogs brought down two sheep in the Benagil area during the last couple of weeks. Most of these dogs have tasted blood and their instinct to hunt and kill is revived. They are unpredictable and dangerous, especially to children.

They are also liable to be diseased and they rumage through the garbage spreading it out evenly over the local roads. They should be contained by the local authorities.

As you can see, I am a cat-person myself.

dogs and CM

Post by Matt K »

Firstly, enough of that scouser bashing CM, and if those strays did go to to crosby they would fit write in with the locals lol :o
As for the strays there seems to be some debate over them, but whether your a dog lover or not, when they endanger other people, like the bitting incident reported by loretta, something should be done. It seems to me to be a problem wide spread across the algarve. Im guessing the rules when it comes to strays are alot more relaxed in portugal, but when they have a taste of blood they should be destroyed.

Carvoeiro earns most of its money from the people that cough up the reddies year in and year out and as such the customer is always right.
I am not sure the dogs in the square would kill (might give you a nasty suck!) but my small kids are a bit skeptical about this!

The smaller of the two has got a very gammy open ulcer on its leg i only noticed it whilst enjoying my pizza in the Grand Cafe...mmmm.

Somebody needs to take resposibility for the welfare of these animals as if the old one makes me spill my beer once more with its manic surprise bark i will ring the b******s neck!!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with scouser bashing ?

Your = you're
write = right
there = their

the grammatical errors are endless :roll: :wink: but carry on the Scouse bashing - YAWN because if it keeps the narrow minded people away from Liverpool then it can only be a good thing :!:

As for the dogs in Crosby, Cherie Blair is residing at No. 10 now but hopefully not for long :D

Scouse bashing is a touchy subject in our/are/r/ house as i married a scouse lady and have three scouse kids!

However as in deep see fishing it is always nice to see a strange unidentified, big gilled monster take the bait! :twisted:

I for one is enjoying some new blood on the forum in the banter stakes - JOY!!!!!!!

Come on Guest, become a member and put your name to your posts as it really does add to the fun.

A final note to the regulars . . . look people are beginning to banter on the main forum again . . . the darkness has passed . . . we have new blood . . . seems like the miserable ones are hitting on the Jokes topic so perhaps we switch back to the main headings :twisted:

(Please do be sure to use the correct spelling and grammatical structure because whilst the PC police have taken a holiday, the english teachers are omnipresent, seemingly forgetting that many users of this forum do not have english as their first language)
