God if I went nuddy, firstly there would be a tidal wave, and secondly there would be a stampede off the beach as the great white whale flopped and wobbled about. I think the nuddy's are best left to the young, bronzed and lithe. Perhaps I shall come along for a leek tho.

HeeHee. I think a peek is better than a leek. I hate dyslexic fingers ! SallyJ I am sure your body is not as bad as you make out. People should not be body conscious, we are what we are. I am certainly not young and lithe and nor is my friend. We are just a couple of girls who have had found ourselves single and lets just say 40+ and want to enjoy life. I totally agree. A naughty secret. When I moved to Lyme Regis in 2003 aged 47. The sea air did me wonders and I got strong, slim, brown and very very perky. Being single with cat, I decided it was time to snag a man or two or three.......Lyme Regis, dead end for the single and impetous. Joined Dating Direct, said i was 39, well I looked it then, so my friends said.
Dated wildly, had a fab time apart from a dissapointing 3 month period, another story. However from 2003 Xmas to Jan 2005, with the little hicup in the middle, I had a whale of a time. 'Its raining men', and did it ever!!! Never had it so good, better than when I was younger. Men, I decided were to pay for my lunch and dinner. So I could get a date for lunch, dump him and have one for dinner. Wild life, and thoroughly enjoyed it and not ashamed that I used and abused the poor male species, for a long summer of love, love em and leave em.
Then I met Richard and that was it, knew where we were heading within days.
Dating Direct works, I lied about my age, acted even younger, nothing changes, and met many fascinating people and never ever put a photo on line.
First time I put my profile up online in Dating Direct I had over 170 hits on my profile by the dumb men, who wanted to date me, and thats without a piccy. Of course I used the correct protocol and emailed, txted, spoke on the phone before a meeting in a public place. Always at my local hotel. They knew I was dating and I always let them know when I was meeting someone for the first time, so they always had someone on the door with a thumbs up or down at their thought of the man. I always got the man to say when they were at the hotel and asked them to get me a glass of red wine and I would be there in two minutes. At least that way I knew which man it was and a drink always help, even if one has to gulp it down fast!!!!
So go for it girls, enjoy life to the full, cos you never know whats around the corner.

Thats great SJ. Thanks for the secret !!! Destroyer, I think it is down to the individuals concerned. As long as everyone is fully aware of the situation then no harm done. I know where you are coming from though. If a chap does it his mates might think he is a top bloke, but women think he is a sh*t. But it doesn't hurt any man to get a bit of his own medicine from time to time. I have male and female friends alike, some use dating sites for company on dates, others have been looking for a long term partner and like SJ they have found one. Like everything in life we are all different ! And just to keep this thread on the track it is like being on a nude beach....slim, fat, young, old, big ones little ones all different shapes and sizes and it really doesn't matter! See yah. SB

It was just really girly talk that you were privy to. We know men have men talk similiar, but not privy to, unless you like to offer.

We men, in the main, are so image concious and inhibited. In the main, I find women to be far more entertaining and honest friends.

You are right Bruce, us men are a little more inhibited. The first time I went in the buff was when I was with my wife and her friend who had recently split from her husband. We were all walking along a beach near Marbella when ahead of us we noticed several people either sunbathing nude on the beach and also a few others either on the waters edge or in the sea. My wifes friend said that she had always wanted to go nude on a beach but now that she was single would be worried about doing it on her own. My wife told her that if she really wanted to she would do it with her. We walked a little further away from the others when out of the blue she said "okay Christine lets do it!" I think my wife was as shocked as I was but having made the offer she could not refuse. The girls promptly stripped off laughing like school girls and ran to the sea. After about 10 mins they returned to me, as I had only seen this lady clothed I was unsure where to look, but then Christine told me to stop being silly and "get my shorts off" As has been said before I was a bit body conscious but Christine and her friend continued to tease me, I knew I was not going to win so rather timidly I dropped my shorts and made for the see, whilst the girls sat and sunbathed. I cannot tell you what the freedom felt like but lets just say we all had several swims and sat about enjoying the sun without a stitch on. There was nothing sexual about that afternoon just some 50 year olds have some fun. Having been to a few beaches now in Spain, France and Portugal we have come to realise that there are as many middle aged people doing it as there are youngsters. Sometimes whole families as Sandy B said we are all different. All that said I don't think I would go to the beach with my male friends and strip off but women seem to be able to quite happily. Bruce's final comments on women are spot on.

Now i thought is this normal as a newbie to CVO and of cousrse was tempted to do the same but thought better as I had just been in the cold sea and would not have been at my best so to speak. Some may ask how did I know she was east european well it was the way she combed her hair or in this case lack of it Taught that sort of thing in the diplomatic service you see education is never wasted. Such a shame they knocked the showers down but have high hopes the new ones will be just as good.
