Personally, I do not feel using a real name has very much weight on internet forums in terms of credebility or acceptance.
Several forums rate their users by the amount of posts. For a user to have some credebility, the number of posts can be a good indicator, provided that there is a certain percentage of actual content in these posts. (One forum owner actually set a minimum amount of characters to stop posts like:)

A post count of 1 or 2 will not give you very much credebility, so even registering do criticise or defamate and be the occasional obnoxious git will not do much good in the long run.
The more a user posts real content, the more credibility and subsequent "priviliges" he/she will have - I rate Maddi and Michael (among others) as the most credible users of this forum for their large number of posts with actual content.

On the Hisaronu forum I have posted over 2,300 times; the vast majority of them decently long.
Most of the kids there are posting, '
' and less than a line of text most of the time. The content, except from a few of the 'oldies' (as in been on the forum a fair time and in age) is nothing like the standard here. The 'oldies' do post longer replies and often the content is very serious.
One thing we do have on there are a lot more 'games/quizes' topics. I've got one called H Words which is very popular and of course, the Wordsearch.
Also, a popular topic is the continuous, "Once Upon a Time' topic with its rolling storyline. It might work here, but I don't want to be the one who's accused of bringing the content down in quality!

Thinking of posting another Poll Question:
Should some 'guests' be allowed to snipe at registered users while remaining anonymous?
It'd be nice if these so-called, 'guests' had the courage to actually stand behind their snide comments and personal attacks upon me. A lot of 'guests' actually appear very nice and add something constructive to the debate; but others seem so full of vitriol it must give them indigestion.
In future I'm going to treat them with the contempt they derserve and ignore them . . . . if I can!

I never send unsolicited emails, nor am I interested in doing so. It just pees me off when 'guests' use the anonimity of being a guest to launch into an attack on me. 
I work on the web all day, most days, and flit around from site to site. It isn't idle time I assure you. I fit in what I can when I can.
It would be nice to have these 'guests' leave me alone; but I don't think they will. I wonder what makes them such bitter people? Perhaps they don't have a life? Who knows? Who cares?

Very different question to the one asked and therefore would have attracted a NO from me rather than the enthusiastic YES.Should some 'guests' be allowed to snipe at registered users while remaining anonymous?
Obviously I regularly snipe at you Michael but have always been willing to own that
