Coincidentally the person who has him is a person I have known for a few years and had him dumped on him on Friday last.

Fingers crossed :)
Hey! that's good news Garry lets hope it's your puppy. Let's know as soon as you can. :o

We have just got back from Vale Fuzeiros and we are 99.9% sure that the dog found is our Noah. Certainly all his characteristics and mannerisms are the same as Noah - so it's a safe bet that he is ours. At least my wife believes so. He has lost some weight in the 10 days he has been missing - which threw me to begin with - but on reflection I am sure he is our Noah.

For the avoidance of doubt the finders are going to take him to their Vet in the morning to see if he is Micro-Chipped, if he is then he is not ours.

For some obscure reason I was of the opinion that we get the micro-chipping done at the same time as we got him neutered - which was scheduled to be done next month. I don't know why I thought that - anyway he will be by this time tomorrow should he be proven to be ours.

Hi

Sounds like the "finders" are a little too keen to keep Noah - if you think he is yours go get him!! After all he is not theirs is he? If you want a "neutral" to come with you just ask!!!!!

As I am not 100% sure - I have no problem with that arrangement. Anyway, we know them and they are genuine dog-caring people - they have a rescue dog of their own - as well as being very nice people :)

Noah's Home

In the year's I have subscribed to this Forum, I have seen some unpleasant stuff on the Forum - and have probably written some myself at various times - but nothing that went before has prepared me for the kindness and attention of the many members when I announced our pup, Noah had gone missing from our home in Mato Serrao.

I had as many pms as I did open statements of support - something I never envisaged. When I received a message yesterday (Sunday) morning from Blue giving me the name of people in Vale Fuzeiros who had a dog tuen up at their gates, I lived in hope it would lead us to Noah - but I had my doubts when I realised the distance between Mato Serrao and there. When I rang the number I heard a familiar voice at the other end who explained the way Noah had arrived at their home. We went and while our initial reaction was one of disbelief (he had lost some weight and did look a little different) we felt he was our Noah. The topic conversation all evening was Noah.

I got a call this morning at 9.20 asking if 'Noah could come home' - so off to Gale I went to collect him from Tim and Sylvia's office.

He's home now - having been sick in the back of my car - and has quickly found his way around the familiar things he left 11 days ago.

Our thanks to everybody who played a part in his return - your kind words of support were a godsend. Our particular thanks to Blue, Tim and Sylvia Lewer - we are so grateful - thank you all so much :D

I just happened to be on FB on Saturday eveing when my friend posted that her parents had found a puppy at their property, I had only read about Shanagarry's missing pup that afternoon & emailed my friend. I'm so pleased this turned out to have a happy ending.
Hoping you have many years of furry fun with Noah. :D
