Lack of sand at the beaches

My family are out there at moment and report a bad cliff fall at Centiennes beach that has taken out the area where the tables were and more so certainly not so much beach. Who has seen this?

Is there any more news on the Centiannes cliff fall, and beach??

We are coming to Carvoeiro on Monday, 5 August, staying near to Centiaanes beach. Can somebody please update me on the state of the beaches in the Carvoeiro area, since this was causing some concern a few weeks back. Our favourite beach is Praia Grande in Ferragudo, which I suppose will be very crowded, with it being August, and finding a place to park our vehicle very difficult. We went there at the beginning of May and found the beach to be rather quiet and were lucky enough to be able to park on the approach to the beach. My 4 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed herself playing on the shoreline. Any information on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot comment about the other beaches but Praia Grande would not be affected as it is withn the Portimao breakwater.
As to being crowded it could very well be , the best suggestion is to get there early if you want to park at the top of the hill.
