As one who is descended from a long line of ancient Irish kings, it comes as no surprise to know that my full name, Roderick, means famous ruler.
Now those of you with long memories and who are familiar with imperial measurement will know that a Rod is a unit of length, namely 5.5 yards. Thus Rod, while still being a ruler, is now much less famous.
Incidentally the equivalent name in Japanese is pronounced feeli, which, under the right circumstances could also be an apt description

Lots and lots of interesting answers here!
falcon thats exactly what I was after and you say it so nicely Tabeeta-has nice feel to it---speaking of which brings us to Rod,or should I say Roderick or maybe Feeli good  Now Rocky you mustnt be too hard on Tricky.Be gentle with her and maybe les dames will give you bigger bit of Climax  Im a bit puzzled by Gambo's name-I know a Frenchman called Rene(pronounced Rerney) is that the way you like it? Oo la la ! Now I know why Ellies posts have ze oomph--the blood will out

Descuple. Eu nao falo portugues muito bem mas eu tento.

However, some native English speakers on this site should look to their English grammar (and spelling) too!

where are you? where are you?
where are you? where are you?
come to tea, come to tea
you and me, you and me, you and me
pinky blue skies away
chasing my dust today
easy to doubt but say
easy to slide away
pinky blue skies away
pinky blue skies away
easy to, easy to
what to do? what to do?
where are you?
you know it's up to fate
pinky blue skies away
chasing my dust today
easy to doubt but say
easy to slide away
pinky blue skies today
pinky blue skies away
easy to, easy to
what to do? what to do?
where are you?
you know it's up to fate
where are you? where are you?
where are you? where are you?
pinky blue skies away
chasing my blush today
cheesy has gone away
where has he gone today
pinky blue skies away
pinky blue skies today
easy to, easy to
