hi gambrinus,...yeah, that's willie,.. he's not old...just "aging with time, like yesterday's wine"....and yes, i am waiting for "guest"..after all, if it wern't for that snide remark, i would have faded off into the "joke board" (Q: why is santa so jolly? A: because he knows who all the bad girls are.)...maby it's just as well,... i just wish he/ her/ them, had better writers... now about this "key stroke caresses" stuff...i find that very intersting...where can i buy one of those keyboards, and does it cook breakfast? 8)

this is a song i wrote for one of my ex-wives (can't say who she is ...the divorce is still pending)...it's a song of questioning.. lament.. un- fatefulness.. and international travel....and it goes like this..."where, oh, where are you tonight? / why did you leave me here all alone? / i searched the world over / and thought i'ed found true love / but you met another and phttttt, you was gone".

"dear abby" is an advice collum in u.s. newspapers....dear abby, my feet are too long, my hair's falling out and my rights are all wrong...my friends all say that i'm no friend at all..won't you write me a letter or give me a call..signed, bewildered. *** dear abby, you won't believe this, my stomach makes noises whenever i kiss...my girl friend says it's all in my head, but my stomach tells me to write you instead..signed, noisemaker ***dear abby, well i never thought, that me and my girlfriend would ever get cought..we were sitti'n in the back seat, shooti'n the breeze, with her hair up in curlers, and her pants to her knees...signed, just married.

well, gambrinus,.. what think?... all the guys on ward 5 are biting their nails to the quick waiting for your responce..i told them it might a while, and bought them some "feedom" fries to give them somthing to chew on ..but i'm not made of potatos, and now they are starting to chew on the wood that encases the graphit writing insterments..sorry about the spelling, but this is getting serious...they say this part of our therapy, but i have my doubts. :o :?

Cowboy, I need at least a weeks work to get anywhere near the levels of lunacy needed to endure this particular dark, padded corner of the forum...
It is amazing how people let go when they can express themselves freely without seeing the "insert coin" flash up every five minutes. :P

So what to do, when the local drivers drive you insane? How bout a song:
Find a girl, settle down, if you want, you can marry, look at me, I am old, but I´m happy.
Alsas, that might just be endorsing the next "cowboy ex-wife", who knows...
Like the man said, "Don´t mind me, I am just another pawn in the game of life".

So Lady Ellie has found her way into the intensive care ward on this forum. I bid you a warm welcome.
Let me see if those wounds that impare your use of emoticons/smilies can be treated, before I let you into the cell of that old cowboy.

When you post a message, you have your smilies on your left and just below there is an "Options" list with three options - the last one should read "Smilies are ON". If that is not the case, click on the profile link centered above the "Post a reply" box you are writing in - go to the bottom part of your profile into the "Preferences" section and find the "Always enable Smilies" option - set the checkbox to "yes".
Once the smilies are ON, make sure the checkbox directly below the text window, that reads "Disable Smilies in this post" remains unchecked.

As for the caressing keyboard - you will just have to use your imagination :)

P.S.
Dear Abby, my forum is packed with lunatics and cyber-terrorists, I think it is beginning to rub off - I have this urge to hit something with an extremley large hammer, signed webmastro Steen.

Gambrinus sweetie--as you can see --or maybe not-- i escaped in the nick of time-- on a quick shuttle over to Paree for a nice rest--rest ? who rests in Paris ?
as for caressing keyboards
But "you " dont escape that easily--its all your fault Im behind with my Algarve "Romanze" --- all those German sentences you taught me--the scenes are getting longer and longer --itll have to be serialised i think.
Certainly seeing me Germans in a different light but itll definitely be a very international affair, for sure.
Sweet dreams;dormez bien. Lady Elle.

couldnt resist answering this one Cowboy Coop;answer is, you bet he did--well I was struggling at the time --- and who came to the rescue
Gallant Sir Gambrinus.
But not just in touch with "my emotions" ! But my German roots as well and Im very grateful -- My writing is going with a swing now.
.
Have you seen those phrases on the Deutsch Forum-- they'll definitely keep you warm if youre feeling the cold cowboy--
and by the way, so pleased you escaped the "funny farm" and youre back on forum form--dont ever lose your sense of humour--we need folk like you around--enough misery in the world,
Have a lovely weekend--Ellie
