Hi Gerry

The rest of us were off topic darling, perhaps Guest was throwing us a timely reminder, although I have to say it threw me too for a moment until I remember the heading

Looking for long let

Post by Marion »

Hi there people, for more than a 18 months I've been viewing this site, mostly in an effort to get a "heads up" on what we could expect to find when we visited (last April for 2 glorious weeks). I have been amused and bemused by some of the contributors, yet was never irritated enough to reply to a post, until now.
I read T J's request, then the reply from guest, and the immediate response from TJ to the info supplied. All I can say is TJ needs to mind her/his manners - a totally inappropriate response.
I think Ktee should lighten up a bit - TJ should count him/her lucky there are as many "nice" people willing to do what they can for those who are looking for info.
This is a lot to say for someone just "joining in the party", but seriously, there are a bijillion bigger problems than what this tempest in a teapot merits - My tempest is now done

Of course you're right Marion --in that --there are a million bigger problems than this 'Storm in a teacup' --but remember-this is quite an intimate site and mostly a nice caring one --and most folk adhere to that and are polite/good-mannered :)
Im afraid --I may have to 'eat my words' regarding tj--as not only myself but others have helped he/she--and so far --not a tiny word of acknowledgement or thanks :(
Welcome here Marion--and hope you enjoy your time on here-its next best to actually being in CVO :) ---Ellie

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

Long let

Post by biffa »

I notice there is a house to let on the back road from Areias dos Moinhos to the Benagil/Lagoa road. It is just past that restaurant on the right coming from Cvo. What's it called now? Old El Paso or something. By the way, anybody ever been there?
