I am prone to being japed especially by my own family but I am positive RIGHT (at last) on the Ken-Wood issue. I am a mine of trivia!

In fact spoke to Pat last week. Ken sold out years ago to Thorn Domestic Appliances and went on to create a golf course at Liphook in Hampshire I think, which he then sold to the Japanes!

Right little mixer he was!

The golf course is probably Old Thorns, my husband knows it well - he used to be a member!

Claim to fame by association - I had a 'relationship'

with one of the Dream Boys (who were the UK equivalent to The Chippendales), he was also a model on the Clothes Show. Plus I was also invited back to a hotel room by the lead singer of Saxon (the heavy metal group) when I was very young - the one and only time I was glad to say that my dad was picking me up!!!

Louise Jameson (who played Leila in Dr Who, and Mrs Dimarco in Eastenders and Bergerac's girlfriend) is my second cousin.

There is more but I shall save that for another occasion.

By association;
My old and very dear friend in London, is auntie to Rolling Stones Guitarist Bill Wyman (now ex-rolling Stone)..and when I lived there..she would feed me little bits of info. on the band..and tell me of her visits to his country mansion.
My older son has acted alongside and met quite a few famous faces. He has appeared in Eastenders a few times and other TV series such as Londons Burning and been in quite a few films now.
He works in security for the stars and attends many of the film premiers and is now in process, with other Equity pals, of forming own little film company.
He had a small part in 'Tomb Raiders 2' alongside La Jolie...and was a wizard in 'Harry Potter2.'
So maybe someday..Ill have to ask for his autograph!

My little niece ran into Cliff's place when he had a villa in Guia, and had to be retrieved by my sister - in - law. Cliff was on the tennis court and he said 'Hi there'.

Where i live and work (near hampstead/ besize park) I always see celebs Noel Gallagher, Nicole & Nicola Appleton, DJ's Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules, Brandon Block. I used to work near elstree studios and saw all of the eastenders cast at one time or another and maddi your second cousin (mrs Dimarco) Stopped her car to let me cross with my baby in the pushchair. I also worked with the two New Zealand girls who lived in melrose Avenue and called dynorod out cos the drains smelled it was then discoverd that Denis Nilson who lived in another room of the house they shared with him had been chopping up boddies and disposing of them down the drain, they said he was a very nice quiet polite man

I could obviously do a few infamous that I know via my work but that would be totally against the old official secrets act plus they really would lower the tone - now stories of the famous you have kissed

keeps things on a much higher plain - no really, it does!!!

Jeff (son) was at the BAFTAs awards over the weekend..and 'pressed the flesh' of quite a few 'luvvies'!
At a film premiere..which the queen attended..he had to 'hide' the queens cousin behind him(Hes tall lad)..the 'Sir'(small) had arrived late and was terrified of the queen seeing him(they all have to be in and seated before 'she' arrives!).So 'He' hid behind Jeff until 'She' had gone in. Then Jeff smuggled him in through the 'kitchen area'..and she was none the wiser!

P.S. Forgot to remark--Tricky being handed tin of tuna by 'Golden Balls'..none other than our Beckham boy!....told my daughter Tricky..and shes green with envy!
I liked Lorettas story of 'Denis Nilson'..very shivery
