I've finally managed to get in front of my computer to check the forum - blimey a lot of people seem to have caught the show. As we were actually in the show it's interesting to see how much of what they shot made the screen, and what people's reactions to it were.
On the whole we enjoyed it. Maybe there could have been a bit more about the business side when they were over here, licences, inspections etc.
I'd love to know how the Mona' family are faring at this end of the season.

I think you will find that neither Ellie or I need help and guidance in providing exquisite catering experiences and the last thing either of us want is more experience!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waited on!!!

Personally speaking---and i have" slight" feeling that sis may feel likewise!
Id much prefer to bed "waited on" rather than being on the catering side----you dont happen to have any --erm---attractive young males around --to wait on table -do you :?:
Mind you Mark -when Im really famished --cant think of anything more quick hot and sustaining than---beans on toast(even on a happy shoppers slice) with lashings of tomato ketchup--mm
Just thought--Im contradicting myself--Ive already offered my services to our "Eva" whos in CVO at this moment looking at premises--with the possibility of opening a --teashop!
So sorry Mads----I could be tempted---

well wot a reply from maddi..there i was trying to think of how we could help the youngsters with a YTS scheme..huh gratitude!!!

surely maddi you can never have cooked the Mona Lisa way..in fact we could start a new series of cook books from this series.

the galloping mona lisa..er no moaning minies here...er cant think of any others HELP!!!

i suggest to the those at cassys bar that they do a "Mona lisa" night ask the family over to cook for the night...all of carvoeiro can sample the delicious food known only to those simple folk of Quarteira

sounds a brill idea to me! pity i wont be here

If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, the mona lisa way wold be like going in with an RPG, and I do so prefer a more delicate approach

Asda/Tesco marg Pah, in fact PAH! We use only the finest Recycled lard by-product with added chip fat and a soupcon of that congealed grease you get behind only the finest deep fat fryers. Other than this I'm sure you'll understand that I can't give out tgoo many of our greasy spoon secrets. :)
Next stop in my masterclass will be 'How to fabricate a Sunday Lunch a la Hendon Services'. I know you just can't wait...
Cheers, Mark
