Parking in the square

The view from the web cam seems to have a lot more cars in it.Have more parking spaces been added?

What are parking spaces? I need to go some where - I stop the car - Get out - and it stays there until I get back. Unless those two very nice men in green uniforms are about. - then I go somewhere else

The parking in the square has been supressed to make space for a small fair in celebration of "Nossa Sra da Encarnação", which is held every year at the end of August. The cars parked on the square are those brave enough to defy the clearly visible "no parking" signs along the barriers. The GNR are going to make some good cash off the fines this next week.
