Just wondering about internet access in Carvoeira - are there many cafes around for collecting mail etc?

There is internet access from a shop off estrada do farol - inside the commercial centre at Mungos - also at Rocha Brava snack bar.

Ellie, I think the shop near Mungos might be a better choice if you need help. The young man who is usually there in the PM is very helpful and I have seen other people bring in their laptop and connect to the net there. Check out there hours before you schlepp everything down.

Im still a complete novice where laptop is concerned --I already have a mental image of "yours truly" lugging it along there as soon as I set foot in CVO !
But theyll probably still have to "draw pictures" for me to understand it!
