Would be interesting to get feedback on how many of you are/have been wearing the button and whether you have seen others wearing it and/or have met up with other members.

Hi there, I was in Carvoeiro from 12th to 19th June. Bought my badge and wore it all week but didn't see any others. Was more than a little disappointed. Perhaps I didn't frequent the right places.

Hang in there Hoppies (and others).
The badges only came out on June 8th and I suspect it'll take a whole summer before enough are in circulation and enough forumites in town together.

I'll be in CV from the 7th July - I'll get myself a badge and see how many others I can spot - expect a report back end of July!

Hi All
I think the badge idea is terrific idea i have a advertising business and its a great way of recognising people who support the forum.
They should have more regulor meets during the summer i think
for forum members possibly on a weekly basis in one of the bars throughtout the summer months, gives people a chance to possibly meet new friends and to support the forum and carvoeiro in general.
I will personally be getting a badge my self when over on July 9th - 17th so dont be afraid to approach me if you are a member of the forum
also creates the opportunity to meet people from other countries too, could develop into something big throughout time.
See you there and dont be afraid to chat to my self or others with the badge.
Best Wishes
Ed from Glasgow

While I was over there 6th ~13th July, I couldn't find where I could get one. Where are the badges sold?
I did see one person wearing one though, however, I wasn't brave enough to go over to speak to him as I was a lady on her own.

Please put two back for us in October as that is when we are due to arrive.
We also have £20 to put in the charity box 4 the childrens home.
No CVO members actually came to the 'Food 4 life Festival' in Dorset but we did receive a lovely chq from a member. Many thanks 4 that donation. ( Name withheld)
We sold a bit at the event but were inundated with people wanting to know how we farm. We wounded up giving a small lecture to about 30 people on 'life on the farm as a Beef Farmer'. It was really interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
So we will match the donation and bring in a chq 4 £20 for the childrens home in October.
