Is there a train station at Lagoa - think it might be north out of town?

Any info. re. destinations ie. to Portimao, Lagos, Faro etc., prices, are trains reliable? Can't be any worse than UK - can they?

Thanks to anyone who can help

I think Estombar's station is closer to CVO, especially if you are located to the westside of CVO (Monte Carvoeiro/Sesmarias)

 think it might be best to go to a station then :?: Otherwise we could end up on wrong train  My Uncle did say there was a train station at Lagoa so don't know what he was looking at if it wasn't a train station :!: Maybe he had his beer glasses on as usual :P

Train Station at Lagoa

Maybe your uncle was thinking of the bus station at Lagoa and not trains. The bus station at lagoa has buses which go all over the Algarve and to Lisboa etc and you may find it has a more regular service to some places than the trains and that the bus stations are in a more convenient location than the train stations which are nearly always out of town. Just a thought!

We have taken the buses from the bus station at Lagoa so he knew it wasn't a bus station whatever he saw  but he does have a habit of speaking Spanish in Portugal too

Thanks to everyone for the replies. :D
