Can anyone tell me where is the best restaurant in Carvoeiro for leg of lamb. I know there are a few places that do it as a special on occasions but do you know of any restaurant which specialises in it.

It comes with mini roast potatoes, mushrooms pan fried, and two other veg I can't remember! You may need to ask for the mint sauce. Another 7 weeks for me.

I'll be thinking of ya Mike when I sit down to my leg on Thursday evening. Wednesday (first day) is always Agale. They even have a particular table for me at this stage. You won't find 7 weeks going by and you will be back to sample the village delights !!!

I've heard that we will officially be having summer on 22 July.... However as I was originally told it would be 15 July I am beginning to think my source is a duff one!!!

Aren't we getting a tad off-topic here? Surely the only 'source' this topic needs is mint sauce?

Mint sauce is paramount here and should be requested on ordering. Assuming that turns up with the knives and forks and the wine, it should sampled and compared with the wine. The wine should and normally does taste less acidic. By the way Robbie the meat of the lamb is still attached the the bone which is fine but watch out for any hanging bits if it's the upper leg.
