• Laser eye correction Lagoa

Has anybody had laser eye correction treatment in Lagoa. I think it is called Q vision?

I intend to get my eyes done but want to go to a reputable practitioner. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

i have seen the firm...cant say i have much confidence in someone in lagoashooting lazer beams into my eyes

if it went wrong all you would get is a shrug of the shoulders

Inga, I dont mean to discredit Q vision. If you, like Trish, are seriously looking for laser eye treatment, please dont be put off by those silly childish responses to the question so far.

Trish.........although unfortunately I cannot recommend an opthalmist who does lazer surgery in the Algarve........I CAN say that I had lazer eye surgery 3 years ago at Optimax (in Finchly Road, London UK) and it was the BEST decision I have ever made

. I had a prescription of minus 9 (blind as a bat in other words

) and I have now got perfect vision and have not had any problems with my vision since the treatment.

What I will say is that since I had my eye surgery .......5 of my friends/family have had theirs done (by the same opthalmist at the same clinic) and have all had brilliant results......BUT.......I have heard of someone having problems (the said person went to Boots Opticians) and the pre and after-care was awful compared with mine.....SO.....although it has been fantastic for me.......PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE look carefully into the background of the clinic/practitioner.....if they are any good they will allow you to contact previous patiens for their comments (I am such a person for Optimax)..........

Thank you Jennie for the info. I live near to Cambridge and am seriously considering lazer surgery (blind as a bat too).

Do you know of anywhere in Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire that has a good record?
