Carvoeiro bar
Carvoeiro bar
Being nosey.
How is the Carvoeiro bar doing these days ( arguably the best bar in the area ) now that Jokie and Hans have left?
I was told it would be British staff?

Re: Carvoeiro bar
Why is it the best bar in the area? is it because its like an English bar, wood and brass, surely other bars have a little more to offer, so why the best?, I personally like the place and drink there a lot and I like the owners.david wrote:Being nosey.

You answered your own question! The owners are lovely.
They never forget the music you like - my choice of music comes on the minute you come in even after not seeing them for a year. They have an enormous selection of music.
I personally dont see it as an English bar - very dutch - check out the wonderful dark wood carved gantry. Brass? Don't recall that.
Great location for falling out to restaurants as I like a few in the immediate vicinity.
Very warm feel to the place.
