• Colina village appartments

Hi Are the Colina village appartments hard to find? staying there mid April.How close are they to Carvoeiro? Never been to Algarve before, really looking forward to it.

Easy to find but about 20 mins into the village if your fit and the first bit is up hill. There's a cab rank by the square and a better bet coming back as most of it is uphill. Supposed to have a good restaurant on site but the pool side bar is expensive. Enjoy your holiday.

Hi and welcome to the site tommytempra if you look at these links you will see the layout for Colina Village and the direction it is from the town center, have a wonderful holiday I am sure you will enjoy it, great bars and restaurants in the town, good beaches on either side as well as the main beach and some wonderful countryside to explore if you would like to ie. Silves, Monchique Mountains, Lagos.

Hi tommy , yes you will love colina village , im sure they do a free bus transfer into/ from town , only takes 5 mins

Stayed in Colina Village a couple of times. Very relaxing. restaurant was good but I think it has changed hands since last year. Nice walk into Carvoeiro but would suggest getting a Taxi back

This resort has NOT changed hands. I visited friends there last 2 months and it is in top notch shape as always. They have installed new heat and air units in living room and bedrooms - so it more comfortable now.

Hi Canada, are you home yet? We back to the cold and had some snow...
Think the Restaurant has changed hands, it is Antonio who used to own Gale but the complex hasnt. Hope you had a good trip home, Edd will be counting the days now. Joanne

Hi Joanne! Yes we have been back for a week now. You are right, the restaurant has changed hands and it is very very good - a couple of notches above most. Definately worth a try!

we are going to collina village for a week on 04/05 and it is also our first time.family with 2 children.i would love to hear of your expierences there when you get back

Kolina Village Appartments excellent every thing you could possibly want except in our case a cork screw! which reception staff sorted out . Restaraunt food good but very expensive Attended catholic church and can you believe this, my wife and I went up to recieve Communion left her hand bag on her seat,called in at supermarket to get some groceries to discover her purse had been stolen! she definetley had it before we went to church, we are certain it was stolen when we went for communion.
