Bit of a long shot but from experience does anyone know of any mini markets that will be open Christmas day? Arriving late Christmas eve!

Dont know if this is any help Mike--but when we were there Christmas2001--Im pretty sure the Intermarche was open till 12ish on Christmas Day.We,re there that week--if you get stuck--be happy to get you bag of groceries.

for heavens sake cant you even survive without a shop being closed for one day! get a friend or your agent to get what you cant do without for 24hours

no doubt those who have to work in shops might like one day off from this material crazy world

thats not very helpful at all guest--Mike and his wife arearriving lateand want to be sure of some basic supplies--we undestand --as we arried very late in our September hols.

yes i have said something nice -on behalf of shopworkers who might like a day off ..or are really saying that someone cannot survive for one day without going to the shops...trying bringing the stuff with you, i am sure you can

I suppose everyone is entitled to an opinion but there are actually people who do volunteer to work Christmas Day! Not everyone has family to celebrate with and not everyone is a Christian! I think our Guest could do with some 'good will' to all men/women

They might have a bit of trouble getting the Turkey through customs Guest---what a sweet helpful little person you are

yes a season of goodwill..as long as you all get to go shopping on christmas day..never mind about those who might also want a day off...think about them for a change and their families and not always your demands for shopping time....it really is pathetic if you cant do without for one day.

as for bringing meat into the country, i believe it is illegal to bring meat in
without a certificate..

as for a showdown with a cowboy...peace my friend...practice what you type...and remember in all your selfish demands that while you go around shopping and stuffing your mouths others have to serve you....and sometimes certainly with the east europeans they have no choice!
