Hi all,
In last weeks Algarve Resident there was an article regarding the Portugal v England friendly in Feb 04 at the new Estádio Algarve. Does anybody know when and how it is possible to get tickets for this match as it would be really great to go and watch at the new stadium..

The game is planned for Feb 18 but not finalised yet. I am trying to get tickets organised for any British (English) person down here who wants to go. Lets see?!

We all hope that the "Lager Louts" will stay away
However, I think that there will be much more to fear during the actual Euro championship. The English FA will have to work very hard to ensure that the Feb match remains trouble free to secure a smooth ride into the championship..

If you want the Lager Louts to stay away then doesn't that rule out most of the English side

And what's this about testing for Cocaine??
Not to mention poor David the only decent bloke on the pitch having to put up with that ungrateful wife who would rather live miles away from him - if I could have him in my bed everynight I know where I would rather be! Maybe he could do a deal with the FA and she could sing the National Anthem before every match just to keep her happy and frighten away the opposition
Nite nite boys

Sorry- I've got to support Portugal - they just simply are a better looking team

I for one would be interested to go to this game. Once it becomes official and the ticket allocation and sale details are known, perhaps those in the know could post a note on here.
I drove past the stadium last week and it is certainly looking impressive so full marks to the contractors for making so much progress in the past few months.

Apparently the date isn't confirmed yet, but assuming it is correct, how many locals or visitors would be interested in tickets?
Either reply to this topic or send a pm or email if you would rather

Thanks
