The weather temp says 22C in cvo tonight
- is it REALLY that hot there at night or is the weather gauge wrong?

It's probably a tad warmer than that as that's the Faro temp. Tends to be a couple of degrees warmer in Carvoeiro and surrounding areas. It's also pretty normal as well for this time of the year and September.

These past few days it has been 32 in the shade 48 in the full sun and 22 - 24 at night, but by morning a nice cool breeze is very refreshing

we nearly always have our evening meal sitting on our balcony in Sept so you have no worries about it being cold. Exactly 3 weeks and counting....

So far this year June has been the hottest month by far, but that's not all that unusual. It seems to be cooling down now.

Still lovely here, and even if it gets cooler it will not be a problem as I'm out on terrace and its still warm.
Think of getting away from the rain.

When I say cooling down I mean whilst it was frequently getting up to nearly 40ยบ in June its now getting just above 30.. Although someone did inform me that Friday was the hottest day this year. I am not sure how reliable that was.
